Exposure Mastery
what it includes
Light
Tells us how to shoot in dim lighting, by turning the shutter speed down or widening the aperture of the camera.
Book starts off about light, stating how it reflects off objects, and how it is passed off objects and is focused within the camera lens. It states that light is measured as exposure, as well as stating what the ISO, shutter speed and aperture settings do in response to the light when these settings are adjusted.
Fast shutter speed captures objects whilst they are in motion, and a lower shutter speed catches the motion blur, or light trails of objects.
equipment
The book reccomends tripods, lenses and different DSLR cameras that have been reccomended for photography.

Histogram
Graphic display of the light intensity ranges across the field of view, rather than going by physical area. The higher the graph, the more intensity of light in that shade.
Conclusion
Creative photography is: framing, compositon, focus and graphic image.
Tells us to see what effects we can have by using the exposure triangle, see how photo styles change when settings such as the ISO are adjusted.
Tells us that most of it is just practice, and that you will need to take a lot of photos to be able to master the camera settings and be confident using them.

What ive learnt
I learnt about the exposure triangle, which is very good for me when i do my various photo shoots with photography A Level.
I learnt more about the settings that my camera has within it, it has helped me to become more confident using these settings, as well as being able to apply them to real life scenarios.
Previously i was unsure as to what the depth of field is, however now i am more clear on this feature and i am able to apply this knowledge to my exam revision etc for photography.

introduction
-
The book outlines the different functions of an DSLR camera and how they can be used to get various photography effects when slightly adjusting the settings.
The book I feel is easy to read and has been laid out well with a good balance between photos and plain text. The photos back up what the writer is trying to tell the readers of the book.
the book is written as a "how to" style where advanced photographic terminology is not used, it is designed to be easy to follow and understand for beginners of photography.
Conclusion
Who the book is for
It is for beginners rather than advanced photographers, it has the basic terminology
people that are learning how to take photographs in their spare time, as well as students like myself studying the form of art.
