Activity 2. The 204 participants receive training, take part in PRA workshops for data collection on GBV in their communities, and have the opportunity to practice new skills including writing, planning, public speaking, data collection, analysis and communication.

Outcome: Participants have used their knowledge and skills to conduct surveys in their communities (350 respondents) and to lead focus groups with women from their villages (115 participants). Using this information, they analysed and came up with a plan to address the issue of GBV in their community both through creating a self-funded revolving loans scheme for a vocational skills training program and to raise awareness through promotional materials
