    - - ADIPOSE: Consist in fibroblasts that can enlarge and store fat.
        
        It is found in skin, around kidneys and heart.
        
        Functions: energy storage, insulation & organ protection
      - RETICULAR: It forms the supporting meshwork of lymphoid tissue.
      - ·All types of blood cells are produced in Bone Marrow
      - CARTILAGE: It is a connective tissue consisting of cells called candrocytes, SOLID BUT FLEXIBLE.
        ·HYALINE: nose
        ·ELASTIC: ear
        ·Fibrocartilage: between vertebrae and knee joint.
    - - It consist of an extremely hard matrix of inorganic salts.
        There are 2 types of bone:
        COMPACT BONE: In the middle// Stronger one.
        SPONGY BONE: At the ends of the longe bones// less strong

        Separated in 2 layers:
        ·55% Plasma// organic and inorganic substances dissolved in water.
        ·45% formed elements// RBC: without nucleus. WBC: nucleus in. Platelets: cell fragments that aid in blood clotting.
  - - - Cell body: Contains nucleus and cytoplasm.
      - Dendrites: Processes that conduct signals towards the Cell Body.
      - Axon: Process that conducts nerve impulses away from the cell body.
