BONE
It consist of an extremely hard matrix of inorganic salts.
There are 2 types of bone:
COMPACT BONE: In the middle// Stronger one.
SPONGY BONE: At the ends of the longe bones// less strong
BLOOD
Separated in 2 layers:
·55% Plasma// organic and inorganic substances dissolved in water.
·45% formed elements// RBC: without nucleus. WBC: nucleus in. Platelets: cell fragments that aid in blood clotting.
MUSCULAR
It consists of cells called muscle fibers and MF contain the contractile proteins actin and myosin.
It response to signals from nervous tissue.
TYPES:
-Skeletal Muscle.
·Voluntary.
·Attached to bones by tendons.
·Cilindrical.
·Striated.
-Smooth Muscle// stomach.
·Non striated.
·Involuntary.
·Found in walls of organs.
-Cardiac Muscle// Heart.
·Striated.
·Involuntary.
·Branched cells.
NERVOUS
It contains nerve cells (neurons) presented in the brain and spinal cord. It makes brain to respond to external and internal stimuli.
