My Ethical Mind Map
The good Will
Philosophical Study of Ethics
Immanual kant
"discerning believer formed in the Catholic Faith" this CGE quote lines up with The Good Will of Immanual Kant nicely by for both Kant and CGE because both involve trying your best to achieve a goal for yourself and having lots of trust and faith in the church to guide you down the correct path.

Kant held that the good is to aim of a moral life, was primary concerned about the century of the principles of ethical reasoning, recognized that in the domain of ethics.
Kant held onto three areas of interest in ethics they were God, Freedom, and Immortality.
Freedom: If the supreme good is to be, in part our achievment, then what we ought to do, we can do. To have the duty to do something, we must be able to do it. Therefore, Kant argues, humans are by nature free
Immortality: Achieving the supreme good is an immense task, It is impossible to obtain it completely in this life. This is why there is immortality, a life beyond, in which we can achieve the supreme good.
God: Humans cannot out of their own power achieve the supreme good. There are too many circumstances beyond our control.Kant proposes the existence of God to allow us to achieve the supreme God

I believe and live by the ethical rule of "the good will" for me this means I strive and want to love in the best way possible with my own two hands but know I cannot achieve that on my own because there are so many little things that are beyond myself and sometimes even God himself.

Human Freedom/Determinatism
Sigmund Freud
Feud's theory of the unconsious, human actions are determined by the uncounciuos mind repressed memories and desires pressure the consrious mind shaping preceptions and actions. Until one reconects memory one's actions are not free.
Similar to the Good will, the human freedom/determination is realities to the CGE by having putting all your trust in God to and that God has a plan from all of us. From the day the world was created he has created all of us with predictions of what we will do in the past present and future so theirs no point in worrying over it it's already done.
In real life Naturalism happens constantly for myself, often it 's called the butterfly effect by my lack of organisation with my studies. Two years ago I had a project due on Monday, I procrastinate my assignment then asked help from my mom at 11:30 at night then when she she helped me I was causing my mom to stop doing some other work causing her to stay u pa lot later than she should have then she was late this was all due to myself not completing y work on time.
Religious determination: The belief that God had predetermined the course of the world and it's history, the actions of each individual. Also known as predestination, that God has chosen from the beginning who will attain salvation and who will not. A person can do nothing to change "the election of God"- a belief of he pucitain tradition
Social Determination: Human behavior is determined by others influence upon you, not your physical state. Behavior explained by social factors not by your decision.
Naturalism: also known as "Genetic Determination", Everything is part of one grand chain of being connected by cause and effect than can be scientifically explained. If naturism can be proven would allow us to establish a scientific basis for ethics, actions would be predict able and less confusion

Three main branches of the Philosophical Study of Ethics
Normative Ethics: is the study of ethical action. It is the branch of philosophical ethics that investigates the set of questions that arise when considering how one ought to act, morally speaking.
Applied Ethics: Applied ethics is the branch of ethics concerned with the analysis of particular moral issues in private and public life.
Meta Ethics: consists the attempt to answer the fundamental philosophical questions about the nature of ethical theory. It is a branch of analytic philosophy that explores the static, foundations, and the scope of moral.
One aspect of the CGE that connects to the Philosophical study of Ethics is a self - directed , responsible learner. This aspect is similar and connects to the topic of Philosophical study of Ethics by not listening to what society says to or about you but living on in life not caring what people think and choosing you own path.
In my personal experience and option in the society that we live in today certain people are expected to act certain ways for example the other other day I was watching the Grammy's or Emmy's or whatever and every single person who walked down the red carpet acted very professional and pristine. But then on of the actors was acting very active and crazy and looked like she was having a lot of fun. She as possessed to be doing what the other actors were doing but she didn't do what was expected of her but instead of listening to society she listened to herself.
