Served the employer for at least 3 months
Informed or have attempted to inform the employer within 48 hours of absence

maximum length of medical leave is 14 days and 60 days
New hires who worked under 6 months (Pro-rated sick leave)
4 months: 8 days of non-outpatient leave and 30 days of paid hospitalisation leave
5 months: 11 days of non-outpatient leave and 45 days of paid hospitalisation leave
3 months: 5 days of non-outpatient leave and 15 days of paid hospitalisation leave
6 months and more: 14 days of non-outpatient leave and 60 days of paid hospitalisation leave
