Contributions: One thing that Africa contributed to our modern civilization is Geometry. Egyptians created one of the most well known math subjects that we still use to this day to calculate objects' shapes, sizes and volume. Another very well known contribution to modern society is Glass. Also done by the Egyptians, the first known glass objects were created in Egypt. We still use glass a lot today to make windows, art, vases, cups, and much more. Overall Glass and Geometry are enormous contributions that have helped to shape art, sculptures, math, and architecture which all help to shape society. End
