One connection I can make to ancient Africa is university's. University originated in Mali, and then spread all across the world

Another connection i can make to ancient Africa is the invention of Hospitals. Hospitals, again, originated in Mali, which then spread all across the world.

Another connection I can make to ancient is the domestication and brewing of coffee. The location where the undomesticated coffee plant originated is Ethiopia. From there it was taken all over the world be traders

One major thing we can glean from ancient africa is there driving force of innovation. Hospitals, Universities, and more were all invented in ancient africa. We can apply this driving force in our own lives to increase our quality of living

Unlike many other countries then and now, Mali had religious freedom, which is important to how we as a country have developed now. They were on of the first countries of that era to allow this. Without there desicouse to allow all religions to coexist we may not have had a fair and just country today
