Priority One
Improve outcomes for all learners
Embed whole school evaluation processes
Analysis of pupil data, tracking and use of national test data to inform target setting, intervention groups. Consider deployment of staff to focus on specific groups of learners.
Priority Two
Raise standards of Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Compentency
Embed LNF pathways in Mathematics and Rubric milestones in English to inform multi levelled WALT and WILF which identify specific opportunities for application of these skills across the curriculum.
Priority Three
Improve attendance
Follow the ERW template for absences
EWO to carry out regular visits
Raise the profile of attendance in school through the use of displays, parent mail, assemblies, prizes for class with highest attendance and 100% attendance trips.
Priority Four
Embed the role of middle leaders and senior leaders to ensure curriculum planning meets statutory requirements.
Subject leaders to monitor and support short, medium and long term planning.
Monitor opportunities and progression within the Digital Competency Framework.
Priority Five
Develop Opportunities to raise standards of reading and information retrieval skills.
Use of planned reading opportunities to develop pupils specific skills in this area.
Use of reading behaviors to teach explicit types of reading.
Use of LNF pathways and differentiated text types.
Use of catch literacy groups to focus on specific groups of learners.
