Each group will learn about the different subjects; the presenter will rotate among the groups.

SPARKS members: Each member is assigned and trained in one of the subjects before the workshop.

Splitting the classroom of students into three groups. These groups will be chosen by the location of the desks so that they can be put easily into a half-oval shape.

Giveaways: Lanyards, pencils, stickers, sunbursts (information cards)

T-shirts if any SPARKS member needs one

Training Meeting Outcomes

Discussion of the agenda (order of events throughout workshop) for SPARKS Success.

Provide training for each SPARKS member based on the three subject areas that we are focusing on.

Availability- who will be attending each workshop.

Transportation to Workshop

SPARKS pays for rides through Uber for the students to get from any ASU campus to any SPARKS event.
Uber.

Introduction to the SPARKS Success program. Going through a summary of the project description and the impact that we want to have.

Follow-up email the day before the workshop to confirm the attendance of SPARKS members, give address, and clarify the times that each member will need to arrive.

Each SPARKS member will be standing within that small half-oval shape to present the information.

College life/ involvement

Preparing for college/ choosing a major

The pre-evaluation will be a electronic version that the students will fill out before the workshop begins. This will include ten questions with a rating scale on how confident the students are on the subjects that are about to be discussed in the workshop.

These hard copies will be printed before the workshop.

This will be taken electronically through Google Forms.
