Uses of Multimedia
Mass Media
Mass media is all the media or multimedia that is used for the news industry and all the newspapers, magazines and all the journalist. As we see, all the documentaries or news programs that appear on the T.V. need from multimedia in order to be created and have a good edition. Also, the radio programs that everyone hears, also require from multimedia in order to exist. 
Objective of the use of multimedia: the objective of using multimedia for Mass Media is to have or produce a mean to inform all the people of the society about all the current news that are happening in our country or region now a days.

Education
Education has been slowly integrating multimedia to the education system. Nowadays multimedia is used for presentations in class (powerpoint) and also to teach the students with documentals. Also, sometimes the teachers leave the students Homeworks and class works that need the use of multimedia in order to do it. Also, multimedia is used for all the new online courses that exist in the interned in the present.
Objective of the use of multimedia: the objective of using multimedia for Education is to teach students in a much easier and faster way. Also, with the use of multimedia, the teachers can save the material of one course and use it to teach again the next year.

Nowadays there has been added a new art to the 7 main ones which is the cinema. Movies are not just made for entertainment there are also made for art. Also there are some photographers that use multimedia to take pictures that belong to art as if they were paintings.
Objective of the use of multimedia: the objective of this works is to transmit feelings to the viewer but not in a direct way like the ones before, but in an abstract one.

Objective of the use of multimedia: To use the new multimedia to develop better technology or get new and more precise scientific results.

Nowadays there are branches of science that require from multimedia in order to get more precise results and be able to present them easier. For example, there is now a branch of science that is called computer science that uses computers to make calculations instead of having humans to do them. Also, in the medicine there are new instruments that use multimedia.

Entertainment is probably the most known use of multimedia. Every time a movie is created or a song is published multimedia is being used for and entertainment purpose. Also, all the videos that exist in YouTube and the reality shows that are transmitted in the T.V. are also part of this category.
Advertising
Advertising is one of the most important uses that multimedia has since the only thing that we see in the streets besides houses and traffic signals are advertisements of companies and new products. And if we think about it, all the advertisements that we see in the streets are designed in the computer first, there are few the ones that are just written in big cardboards. So, Multimedia is and essential part. And not just for street advertisements, also for all the advertisements in the radio and in T.V.
