This leads us to the most important of Nathanael's story; the conversation that takes place between him and Jesus. I'm sure that John included this story in his Gospel because we're all like Nathanael. We have expectations that shape our perception, we think we know what we need to know about God. Perhaps we think we know enough or perhaps we think we don't know enough. Once again, we have this idea that the all important thing in our relationship with God is our knowledge of God. How many times are we given the idea that Christianity is about getting more information? We read books, study the Bible, we listen to radio, TV, podcasts, sermons.
