The compound water exists as molecules. Each water molecule consists of two hydrogen joined to one oxygen atom
Properties of metals: good conductor of electricity, good conductor of heat, shiny, high density/heavy, malleable/hammer into shapes,ductile/ pull into wires,sonorous/makes sound.
Alkali metals: soft, reactive with water, stored under under oil, less dense than water it floats, reactivity increases down the group, low melting and boiling points
-
As you go down the list of group 1 metals they get more reactive Lithium is a little reactive and Cesium is a big spark and flame

Atoms are the simplest particle found in all matter (solid, liquid and gas)
-
-
Properties of non-metals: poor conduct of electricity, poor conduct of heat, dull, low density/light,brittle/breaks easily, not sonorous
Element: Silver, Copper and Oxygen etc...
Compound: Water, Sodium, Potassium bromide, Magnesium sulphate and Sugar
