The Danes then decide to close up the longhouse before finally agreeing to open it for Beowulf. Grendel returns and attacks yet again only to be defeated by Beowulf.
Beowulf arrives in Denmark from across the ocean, with plans to defeat a monster named Grendel.

Eventually Beowulf ends up fighting a dragon because it is burning everything in its path due to someone stealing its cup from it.

Greedy people tend to do risky things in order to get their power and solidify their power hold such as killing people who were at one point close to them.
Tyrannical governments tend to be deposed given time, because people become fed up with the leader and decide to implement a new one.
Loyalty only goes so far and when opportunities present themselves it can sometimes be useless or non existent.
People should pick who they trust because certain people will do things to get trust in order to improve their situation and then break the trust.
