Ideas
Race Across The Stars: Racing game that takes place in the cosmos rather than on Earth. Tracks consist of things like a Rainbow Road similar to Mario Kart, and the rings of Saturn. Powers, weapons and tools on the track to aid the player.
Art Style
Bright and sparkly at all times. Despite this, the background will be mostly black because it is space. The racetracks and the black background will have lots of contrast between them.
Inspiration
Final Lap and Mario Kart. Both inspired my game and most of the game's features are taken or altered from them both in some way. Mallory Park Race Track was also drawn from to inspire my track design
Mechanics
Items on the track, almost identical to the way Mario Kart does it. Will provide things like shooting stars to hit enemy.

The Little Things: Scientist gets shrunken down to a miniature size, must navigate the house in order to regain his original size. Must reach the button on the shrink ray to return. Enemies scattered throughout the house. Tools and weapons shrunken to give to the player.
Inspiration
The inspiration for this game comes from playing games like Ratatouille and seeing gameplay of Toy Story 2 the game and the Pants Elves section of the South Park: The Stick of Truth game. Although most of these games are 3D, they can still be adapted into a 2D game and keep their entertainment factor.
Art Style
My game will have a variety of different colour schemes. This is because the different rooms within the game will vary in decoration. For example, the bathroom will have a lot of bright colours and in contrast, the basement will have a lot of darker colours.
Mechanics
The mechanics of this game include going into cracks in the walls to enter a new area or to hide/escape from enemies, this will also be useful to find new item or possibly hidden secrets. Another mechanic is rather a set of mechanics which includes the different tools within the game. To give an example, rocket boots will provide an extra jump to create a double jump mechanic, and will boost the player in the desired direction.

Ideas
Heroes of The Aether: 4 or more heroes all gain elemental powers in order to save the city from the criminals and gangs that have taken over. Must go through the city and beat up criminals to reach the building with the boss battle.
Inspiration
Metropolis and by extension, New York. This game was also inspired by multiple games. Final Fight, an arcade, side scrolling, beat-em up game and Rivals of Aether, an arena fighter with a selection unique characters. Rivals of Aether is where I got the character inspiration from; all of the characters in this game use elemental abilities that they integrate each into their own unique fighting style.
Art Style
Mostly dark colours. Some dim lighting from lampposts and such. The buildings will mostly be grey with graffiti and have cracked windows, with black alleyways to conceal enemies and secrets. Also, the game will have a day setting and so will be a brighter version of the night mode.
Rise of Hellfire: Arcade Edition: The arcade edition will be the Beat 'em up version of the game where you go through hell and beat up the demon with all the weapons that you have.
Art style
The art style will consist of lots of reds and blacks because of the hell setting. There will be fire and brimstone everywhere and lava flowing from cracks in the walls.
Inspiration
Inspired by an already original game concept, Rise of Hellfire, which takes place in the realm of hell and has the player go thorough it to reclaim his soul.
Mechanics
Lots of weapons to use and the core mechanic allows you to switch between demon and angel form and the weapons will change with you to combat angels or demons
