How can we adapt to change
Mental
Might see things differently
Physical
The body of the victim will change so it will suit the environment better. The body of the victim can experience a different structure of cells, tissues and organs. It also might grow or take away some organs, or body parts as well.
The body of the victim can also experience a change of genetics that might influence its metal, emotional, and social activities/feelings.
The changes made are all to adapt to its environment, so it can live better (more food, more population, a higher chance of survival, and can sometimes even change the enviroment to suit the state it is in).
The hair on the organism might have different hair growths on their body to help them survive. They might grow a lot more hair to give a lot more warmth in cold climates, and it might decrease hair growth to stay cooler in colder climates
The organism might have changes in size to help it survive more. It might grow larger to try and intimidate its opponents, or it might grow smaller and more agile to escape from larger and bigger opponents.
Social
People need to change their way of being social in order to adapt to new relationships and friendships.
We might need to change our view of others to advance our survival. We might have to trust some people more, or you could decrease and/or completely take away your trust of people.
Emotional
How have Earth changes affected life on Earth?
Tsunami's might make there be more water in an area, which might change the way and organism lives, and can decrease the life of some species, and increase the life of other species.
Global warming
Global warming has changed the way people dress and how people farm. It also has melted many icebergs in the poles making it extremely hard for animals such as polar bears. Also, it is making the water level rise, which might create flooding on land which occur to be close to these oceans.
Sand storm
Earthquakes
Earthquakes are formed by tectonic plates crashing against each other forming a huge change in the rocks, soil above it.
Landslides
Landslides may change the way the land looks, possibly destroying some of the organisms homes. But, this might lead to more places for other organisms to live in, and might help other species with food sources.
How can cities adapt to a changing world?
A city might take some of the lands from other places to make more living places for the people, but if they use a forest or a place with much life, then they might kill some of the animals, and even the species themselves as they take the land for the houses.
Cities can help find solution not to stop these changes but to adapt to them and use them in a helpful and useful way.
Cities can have a building that are earthquake-proof, also called "jelly buildings". The building like its name will not fall when there is an earthquake the building will only shake, just like a jelly.
Cities may use some of the surrounding land to help out with production of resources. A flat plain near a water source might be used to plant crops for us to eat, and they might use the water for electricity production, and also as a water source to drink from.
A great solution to global warming is banning oil-fueled cars and only eco-friendly cars such as electric powered vehicles a well-known brand that uses electric powered vehicles are Tesla.
