ADAPTIVE IMMUNE SYSTEM
They need to recognize the pathogen as a threat before it attacks.
It has the ability that remembers specific pathogens.
It does this by two defenses
The Humoral Immunity and the Cellural Defenses.
The humoral immunity patrols the body with special blood cells (antibodies).
Are fought by the humoral response cells an example is a B Lymphocyte.
Has the ability to see the differences between find and foe.
Every lymphocite has it´s own antibodies.
It also has the capacity to recognize the anthogen and clone itself against it. All going after the same bacteria.
Also they crate antibodies (2000 per second), that attach to the anthogens, and sentencing them.
Neutralization, blocking the antibodies physically.
Aggluggination, when the antibodies are binded at the same time.
The humoral response allows your body to achive immunity by encuntering pathogens either randomly or on pourpose.
Vaccines help to protect us from this diseases.
INNATE DEFENSE SYSTEM
It fights external barricades and internal defenses.
It uses physical and chemical barriers, killer cells and fever to keep you healthy.
INTERNAL INNATE DEFENSES
Some types are
Neutrophils (most common)
Macrophages (divided in free and fixed types)
Natural Killer Cells
They can kill your own cells if they are infected with viruses or have become cancerous.
It knows where to look because of the Inflamatory Response.
Other substances accelerate the permeability of blood vessels.
Histamine and other chemicals increase permeability.
Protein-rich fluids that are realesed cause swealling, that helps to create a scar.
When white blood cells and macrophages get overruned they raise the body´s temeperature
This helps them to cure faster and do not provide elements to the disease.
ADAPTIVE DEFENSE SYSTEM
Goes after specific targets and remembers how to fight them in order for the next time around.
