Vine-line plants

Forests have this because the growing season is on all year round

This allows trees to shed leaves all year round

Trees always have leaves and they are always green, no matter what time of year it is

Can be over 40 metres tall

Forest

Forest floor is damp and dark

Trees

Trunks of the trees are straight and don't have any branches near the bottom because they try really hard to grow tall

Their leaves have drip tips to get the heavy rainfall of the leaves

The TRF lacks undergrowth (lots of shrubs and plants) because the sunlight can't reach the ground level

Although, near rivers there's lots of undergrowth because the sun can reach those areas

Once leaves fall of their trees they quickly rot because of the hot, wet climate

Rivers flood for several months of the year
