Santa Cruz
Official Claim
Warranty :
Lifetime. No gimmicks. Not limited. If you do actually manage to break our rim while out riding, we'll replace it for free. And probably high five you in the process!
Feedback 1 : Deliver Confidence ==> Game Changer Warranty
They believe in their product so much after intense testing and by working closely with Enve for many years that they are willing to give such a warranty that changes the carbon wheel game.
Back over a wheel? No need to conjure up a bs story, send it in and a new one will be sent to you. Simply a game changer warranty.
Feedback 2 : An Innovation
Santa Cruz just advanced the wheel business from one where wheels are a consumable to one where wheels are potentially a lifetime product.
With so many competitors (large and small) trying to capture a limited market
Santa Cruz just pushed out ahead of the pack with their entry into that market and will have some breathing room until someone else responds to match.

Feedback 3 : A Truly "Differentiated" Product
They have just
removed two of the only remaining potential barriers to adaptation (purchase)
for a large number of customers effectively expanding the marketplace.
People who were unsure about carbon wheels
durability
now can purchase with peace of mind, and people who were on the
fence about spending ~1500-2000 dollars on wheels
can now
amortize that cost over a long timeframe
in their evaluations for the purchase.

Feedback 3 : Devils are in the details of how the process will work in practice
I understand the intent of the warranty, it’s liberal, but the devil will be in the details of how the process will work in practice. The warranty is not there to give rims to folks when they use them outside of design parameters.
These wheels look sweet and I like the company and if users are honest it will work. People are not honest. I don’t doubt SC has good intentions, but they know the score and will cover the butts.
If it gets run over by a truck we'll help you out with a low cost accidental
'crash replacement'
, because life's too short to argue.
Feedback 1 : Too Vague
They say 'crash replacement' then use a truck running over your bike as an example. Crash replacement to me means just that, I screwed up, crash and go boom, you get a pro-deal on a rim.

ENVE
lifetime loyalty guarantee
A solid repair that cost a couple of hundred dollars is better than 50% off of retail price
Although I appreciate Enve's crash replacement warranty, 50% of MSRP isn't much different than buying a new rim during a sale (and there always seem to be sales). If I can get a solid repair on the rim for a couple of hundred dollars, I'll consider it money well spent even if it voids the warranty.

Repair was quite reasonably priced, fast, and extremely good quality. All in all, a much better path to take than Enve's crash replacement warranty.
Warranty
They stand behind their product.
Enve is quite simply the best brand in the US, when it comes to warranty issues. Seriously... My buddy had a damaged Enve 45 2.8 28h Carbon hoop and Enve no longer makes the hoops in 28h. They offered him 2.2 SES Clincher rims laced to his hubs, free of charge. I mean.... Those guys over there stand behind their product.

Zipp
Case 1
Had a 2013 FC CC 808 that had the front hub ring issue. Once was in late 2013; replaced the ring w/ warranty. Last fall after the season I noticed it was cracked again. I called Zipp who told me to take it to any LBS and they would send it in for free repair. 2 weeks later I got a brand new 2015 808.

Case 2
2012 Zipp FC 404s
Had LBS send in front for the hub recall. Did not have any failures prior. Received new wheel or same wheel with new hub two weeks later.
Two months ago had rear hub fail. Spoke pulled out of hole in hub. Had same LBS send it in. Two weeks later had a new wheel and an upgrade to 11 speed.
Happy customer.
