Method 1)Measure out 40cm(cubed) of the acid (usually sulfuric) in a measuring cylinder
2)Then add (in excess) copper oxide, stir the mixture.
3)Gently heat and continue to stir, do not allow the mixture top turn blue.
4)Once heated, place the solution in a filter funnel and allow to filter.
5)Finally, once filtered, heat again and leave in an evaporation dish, the longer the solution is left the larger the salt crystals will be.
When writing the method, marks are awarded for achieving PURE and DRY crystals.
