Gamma Radiation
Good things
Used for killing cancer cells which is chemo therapy
Used for sterilizing medical equipment to keep out viruses
Radioactive tracers can be used to investigate a patients body instead of doing surgery.
Bad things
The Gamma rays will pass right through your body and put holes in your skin and turn you into dust.
When going through chemo therapy the gamma rays will destroy cells whether or not if they are cancerous or not.
Doppler Effect
The Doppler effect is the change in frequencies, sound and light or other waves as the source and an observer move away from or toward.
Its like when a car has a siren and it passes by and it gets loud and them quite.
Infrared
Good things
One of the good things about infrared radiation is we can now use thermal imaging which lets us see the energy as heat and some objects that are hot we can see under the thermal imaging.
Bad things
When the infrared radiation get into the eyes it damages the cornea's lens. This is why looking at the sun is bad.
X-ray Radiation

The X-ray's rays are used to see things in the human body
They shoot the rays like a picture and they go through your skin and bounce off of the bones and go through the cracks in the bone and then they show you what is broken or damaged in the bone.
Bad things
Cell mutations, Cancer and to much can kill you.
Visible Light
Good things
The good things about visible light is the light bulbs take in lots of different colors that we use to pass through a prism that mixes the colors together and makes white lights and lots of different colors of lights.
Bad things
One of bad things of visible light is when to much of gets into your eyes it damages the lens and the cells which stresses them out and makes that weird image after you look at a bright light for a long time.
Radio
Good things
Radio waves are the waves that get signals out to world from phones, radios and most of technology.
Sometimes the radio waves can't get out to some places.
Ultra Violet
This is when the UV radiation constitutes about 10% of the total light output of the Sun, and then is present as sunlight.
Bad things
This can give you sunburns, tan your skin, give you skin cancer, and eye damage.
Triggers vitamin D, helps skin conditions, helps animals, helps your mood, and aids insects.
Microwave
Bad things
Microwaves can leak and they have 2.45 billion hertz and 10 hertz can be harmful.
Good things
The microwave radiation are used for cooking food in microwave ovens.
