Elastic: dark fibers made of elastin; come in pairs, found in the nose, ear, epiglottis, doesn't stop growing
Fibrous (periosteum): collagen to cartilag, found in the intervetebral discs, pubic symphysis, & meniscus; repir of bone tissue
Hyaline (articular): most common, cells come in pairs, found between joints, used as protection from grinding bone, decreases friction
