Evaluation Question 4: How did you use media technologies in the research stages for your products?
Google was also where my research began by googling anything it showed me a bunch of website related where I could find my information. It also allowed me to get images which I used throughout my coursework.
Youtube was an online platform not only to upload videos but to watch them. I learned a lot from other peoples research of them explaining it in their own words through a video format. This came in very useful for researching theories.
I also used YouTube to research through tutorials of how to use certain programs, like the Adobe Software, and to do certain techniques like the zoom out effect on premiere pro.
Web 2.0 Tools
Palet is an online platform that allows you to present your information in a neat and unique way like a pin board full of ideas.
Probably my favourite web 2.0 tool to use as it a professional and creative way to showcase my information. It allows so much customisation that you can create whatever you want, with crazy unique transitions.
Similar to Slides but made by google it is an even more professional way to present my information
Like an online Powerpoint this is a new and unique way to present information and then embed it onto my blog
My second favourite to use, is again like powerpoint but with a create new way to layout information with custom or template slides.
Visme is a unique platform to create many products like presentations, posters, flyers this creates different ways to present my research and show in a creative but informative way that can be embedded straight into my blog.
Goggle, I used throughout my coursework as it allows me to present anything in a mind map structure which is especially good when presenting a bunch of ideas in research.
This is a technique I used if I didn't have another presentation tool to use I would use Gifs from Giphy into my blog as you can embed them straight away and it makes the page look more entertaining.
Like Ive used throughout my coursework, this allowed me to present my information in a clear structured manor and label different blogs so its easy for the viewer to fins like "theories" would be a label for all my theory research.
I used a graphics tablet in the research element for my ancillary texts. Along with experimenting with Illustrator. I used this to draw a simple face, to see how long it would take and how professional it looked and whether I could use it to draw or edit with our video. I could of drawn my storyboards with the graphics tablet, however it was very time consuming and wasn't very accurate at times.
