Processes
Enzymes
Enzymes are biological catalysts, that control all the reactions in a cell. A catalyst speeds up a reaction without being used up or changing the reaction.

Movement through cells
Diffusion
The overall movement of particles from an area of low concentration to an area of high concentration. Diffusion is passive so does not require energy.
Osmosis
A special type of diffusion where only water moves across a partially permeable membrane from an area of high concentration to an area of lower concentration. Down the concentration gradient.
Specialised cells
Specialised cells are cells that are specialized or a particular function in the body. Specialised cells group together to form a tissue. e.g muscle cells group together to form muscle tissue. different tissues work together to form an organ.
