Forces-Newtons Law
Ravneet Singh (523)
3
A force that pulls against something will have an opposite reaction toward the person pulling. This can also be shown as action and reaction forces.
This law is shown in the water rocket when the rocket was shot up in the air the air resistance and gravity made the rocket come down with the same amount of force.
The bigger guy is pulling the little guy and the same force is resisting the big guy as he is trying to move the little guy.

Every object will not move until there in some force applied on it.
For our water rocket we had to apply force to the rocket to make the rocket go up. Therefore, if we did not apply force the rocket will not move.
As shown there a ball and there is no applied force on it so the ball is still.

This image shows us newtons second law and how the ball is being pushed by the man which moves with weight proving the equation of F=ma.
Our water Rocket showed newtons second law by accelerating up due to the force from the air pump.
The acceleration of an object is depending on the net forces on the object and the mass of the objects. This is shown by the equation F=MA where f is the net force, M the mass, and A the acceleration.
Work and Energy
Types of energy
Kinetic energy
The energy an object has due to it's motion
Mass times velocity squared divided by two
Potential energy
Energy that is stored as a result of position or shape
Energy
The strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity.
Mechanical energy
the sum of potential energy and kinetic energy.
Kinetic energy times mechanical energy
Work
The product of force and distance
