Legisative
Congress
Senate and house of representatives.
"Members of the congress are elected by the people of the United States."
Congress can override veto's by a 2/3 vote.

Senators
Senators serve 6 years.
Senators can serve as many terms as they want to.
There are 2 senators from each State.

Representatives
There are 435 representatives.
Are elected for 2 year terms.
To be qualified you must be 25 years old or older and at least be a U.S. citizen for 7 years.
Can expel a member by a 2/3 vote.

Executive
Has to be natural born citizen to be president.
Carries out and enforces laws.
Must be 35.
The executive branch enforces the laws.
It is a 4 yr term.
It can sign laws and veto laws.
"Commands armed forces."
"Appoints ambassadors and other officials."
Judicial
Takes laws and interprets them.
Decides arguments about the meaning of laws.
Decides if laws violate the constitution.
(No branch is more powerful than another)
