Juice
Intestinal juice is secreted by the glands in the wall of the small
Intestine. The juice contains enzymes that complete the digestion of carbohydrates and proteins.
Bile is secreted by the liver and is temporarily stored in the gall
bladder. It is released into the small intestine through the bile duct.
Bile does not contain enzymes. It emulsifies fats into smaller oil
droplets. This increase the surface area of fats for other digestive
juices to work on.
Pancreatic juice is recreated by the
Pancreas.It passes through the
Pancreatic duct to the small intestine.
It contains different enzymes for digesting
carbohydrates, proteins and fats.it is alkaline
and can neutralise the acidic food from the stomach.
