Vella's 7 Design Steps
Step one: Establish who will be in your audience. This includes any separating factors that may change how you want to present your information, such as age group or academic knowledge.
-
-
Step four: Determine where the instruction will be held. This could be small conference room, or a auditorium depending on the amount of people you are talking to.
Step five: Determine what information, skill, or training will be passed to the audience during your instruction.
Step six: Create a set of measureable objectives that the students will accomplish during/after your course. This answers the question - What am I taking this course for?
Step seven: Determine how you will conduct your instruction. During this step you should decide how you will open your class, how you will present the information, and use a learning strategy that fits with your audience to help them learn the material.
