Interpretative Skills
Focus- not becoming off task and must be focusing when doing anything in rehearsals especially when doing moves such as lifts which require more focus and concentration as the dancer being lifted has the possibility to be dropped.

Musicality - dancing with the music and allowing for your movements to work with the music instead of working against it.
Dynamics - Adding factors such as levels and changes in directions to make your dancing more interesting
Projection/Expressionism - Allowing for the whole audience to see your movements through your body and costumes

Emotional content -Showing true emotion to allow the audience to understand the moral/story to the movements

Flexibility; being able to move you body in more intricate ways to find new, original movements
Speed; the dancer should be able to move around the stage without getting in anyone's way but also staying in time
A dancer must be able to know which direction is the best way for them to go in so that they dance can run smoothly and each person can get to where they need to in a certain amount of counts
The dancer must be able to use their strength as a positive and too its' maximum, by pushing/pulling against a resistance but also knowing your personal strengths such as you might be more flexible than someone else.
This also links with the technical abilities of being able to turn out your hips, being able to have tension as well as release in your body
