What is an Atom?
Everything is made up of atoms
Atoms are the smallest unit of everything.
Electrons keep moving in shells outside the nucleus, each shell contains a fixed number of electrons.
Atoms are always trying to refill their shells.
The outermost shell of an atom is called the valence shell.
Atoms bond with other atoms to form a molecule with the valence electrons in the valence shell.
