Freedom is restricted
"Nobody was smarter than anybody else. Nobody was better looking than anybody else. Nobody was stronger or quicker than anybody else."
I think that Kurt is trying to say if that if we try too hard to make everyone equal, we will try to eventually restrict freedom.
Individuality and dissent are bad
"[When] He flung away his rubber ball nose, [he] revealed a man that would have awed Thor, the god of thunder."
In this society, individuality and dissent are bad and Harrison shows bravery to the readers by completely ignoring these rules.
Thought was redistricted
". . .[George's] intelligence was way above normal, [and] had a little mental handicap radio in his ear."
