Skills include paraphrasing, asking for clarification, soliciting a response, acknowledging others' ideas, reporting a group's ideas, etc.
Action Cloze Strategies
Students work in pairs to negotiate answers and see which actions most effectively fit each sentence

Teaches students content along with language patterns that help organize information according to relationships
Students should be able to determine the order of time, space, importance, etc.
