Slavery: How it didn't change
Survivor of Slavery
When? 2001
Where? U.S.A / Indonesia
Who? Shandra Woworuntu
What? Shandra thought she will join a hotel business and will be successful but instead she got into the slavery industry instead. Everyday she was dressed as a princess and had a gun pointed towards her and it will shoot her if she doesn't do her job.
Why did this happen?
People trick woman to become prostitutes and make some
quick cash.
Solution? In my opinion, you should just not go to clubs and stop drinking and doing drugs because if so the people who makes wine and drugs will eventually run out of money and stop producing those dangerous consumables. After that violence will decrease drastically and people will not be forcefully attacked for money.
Primary Source of how a Slave feels like
Labour Slavery's History
What? Slaves being forced to repay through endless/nonstop labor that will be passed down to their grandchild’s grandchildren.
When? 2015-2016
Who? Citizens with low income and children because they are often desperate for money and is an easy target.
Where? Nepal/India
Why?Labour Slavery is one of history's most consistent and persistent violations of human rights. The work to abolish slavery began with the global struggle against corruption and injustice.
Solution? Go to freetheslaves.net and donate to train government officials and rescue the slaves. I myself chose the less expensive solution and stopped eating foods that have no clear origin.
