Positivism
natural scientist, reality exist indepedent of us, observable and measurable facts, regularities and causal realtionships (deductive and quantitative data)
Critical realism:
explaining what we see and experience, however senses can deceive us. Experience are based on sensations, images and not the existing things themselves.
Postmodernism
Role of language and power relations. Questions already accepted theories and introduces alternative views.
Pragmatism
concepts are only important where they support action. Reconciling objectivism and subjectivism. Reality is the concequence of idaes.
