How have humans influenced the inheritance of traits?
GMO's
GMO Food
GMO foods are foods that have been genetically modified by the genetic material being altered.
Fun Fact: GMO foods is to speed up the production of cropping foods. This had helped the people in the olden days to instead of hunting for their food they could just produce by themselves.
What scientist do.
Transgenic Plants
Transgenic Plants have extra genes in them to give a plant/crop a beneficial trait.
Fun Fact: Biotechnology is wanting to create a piece of technology that they put on a plant/crop that makes them survive in harsh conditions such as rain, floods etc.
GMO's have influenced a lot because it has helped in a good and bad way. The good being there is a faster way of growing plants and or crops. The bad being that all the chemicals can maybe lead to a lot of living beings being extinct.
Selective Breeding
Dogs
Dogs are a very huge variety of dog breeds due to the natural selection. This is helped by the training of the people.
Did you know?: That each dog breed had a specific role. For example, greyhounds were breeded to be fast, which led them to become racing dogs.
Watermelon
Watermelon has been reproduced by scientists in the years between 1950's and 60's to create the watermelon resistant to diseases.
Did you know that?: That a crop scientist has produced seedless watermelons by adding chemicals to double the chromosomes in a watermelon.
Humans have influenced the traits because humans have traits that they desire. So, by getting those traits they put two of those organisms of the traits that the human desires and makes them mat.

Gene Therapies
What do the Gene Therapies do?
Can doctors fix your DNA?
Doctors could cure your DNA. Only when it is a diseases that is happening.
Example: Three young men have gained part of their vision back because this was a disease that was rare. This was because of the therapy called In vivo therapy.
CRISPR
This technology is very powerful because it can edit your genomes.
This piece of technology can modify your DNA's pattern. This also helps by treating helping to stop the spread of the diseases and correcting genetic defects.
How does CRISPR work?
Gene Therapies have helped a lot by saving living beings lives. Without these solutions, there would still be diseases in bodies and this will kill many living things.
