Climate
The warm and wet climate of the rainforest creates perfect condition for the growth of plants. Most of the trees are hardwoods with names like Mahogany, Teak and Rosewood. These tress are excellent for making furniture and are highly sought after because of this. As there's no seasons in the rainforest, trees lose their leaves whenever they need to. Many species of rainforest trees, plats, insects and animals have yet to be discovered by scientists.
Warm climate and a mean monthly temperature greater than 18 degrees Celsius. Rainfall never less than 168cm a year and may exceed 1,000 cm
Always hot because the Sun's rays are hitting the surface directly and therefore heat is concentrated and the surface area is heated up, also there's equal daylight and nighttime hours (12 hours each) causing a constant temperature to remain all year.
Air is heated by the surfaces so water is evaporated to create a large amount of water vapour, warm air rises, cools and condenses to from clouds. They then continue to condense to form huge cumulonimbus clouds which bring rain.
