Had the authors ever played either of the games they suggested as social media options for children K-6 grades? Both are pay to play (WOW requires yearly subscriptions) and deal with adult themes. They seem out of left field in this chapter and not examined thoroughly enough to be as valid of suggestions as other platforms in this chapter.
Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games; large, open world games with a loose narrative where players (generally) interact in war-like manners.
