Leaders should be educated in law because the president is meant to review, sign or veto laws. Overall presidents have a major impact on law so an understanding of the law, the Constitution and the history of legislation can help presidents accurately predict what laws will hold up under court challenges and how legislation might change over time. Having an education in law will give a better understanding of human rights, criminal law, constitution and etc, which will give a president a more inclusive outlook when dealing with laws. According Megan Carrick, a law student at the University of Kent. “It makes you aware of the application and different interpretations of policy within society, which is key to understanding the influence and limitations of politics.”

Political Science
As a leader, it is very valuable to have an education in political science because political science is a social study that provides you with strong analytical skills, argument and debate skills, mathematics skills and above all gives you a greater understanding of political structure political behaviour, and the process involved in different political systems. All of which are valuable for a leader because studying the general topic of politics will give a leader the ability to engage in political events and give them social views while making decisions. individuals studying political science further refine their understanding of foreign policy, conflict, trade, and foreign aid. Which are important for a presidents relation with other countries.
Presidents need to know the history of their countries in order to create policies based on the knowledge of the past. Knowing history as a leader is also important because knowing how previous leaders have handled the country/challenges they needed to face enables them to observe and improve the way they run things.

Q:Why is military service so valuable for presidents
A: It's valuable because in the military decisiveness, self accountability and inclusive problem solving is enforced. Leaders in the military are taught to understand the potential impact of their decisions and so give every effort to get things right. Past veteran presidents such as John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan had this mindset and were highly successful during their presidency as they were able to choose the best path for america based on ideas from all sides.
