The following punishments are used for different types of offenses such as stealing stalking and other offenses. However, the punishment system follows the saying: "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth". For example, the punishment for stealing is getting your right hand cut off, this can change in different places (a hand an a leg is cut off, both hands are cut off). Another example is a man in Iran was stalking a woman, who declined his advances and because of that he poured acid on her which blinded and disfigured her. Consequently, his eyes were blinded by dropping five drops into his open eyes. The entre saying comes from the Torah which says: "A life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, and a tooth for a tooth and in the case of injuries there is a requital...
