Causes

-
Fascism
World War I convinced many that liberal democracies were incapable of organising and governing modern states. This was inspired by ultra-nationalism and it held the idea that a nation could expand to multiple new territories. This was seen in Italy during while Benito Mussolini was in power and at the same time it happened in Germany with Adolf Hitler in power.(DC)
