Sherlock Qualities
Sherlock: good qualities
Passionate
Evidence- “I’ve found it! I’ve found it,” he shouted to my companion, running towards us with a test-
tube in his hand.”
“He had invariably breakfasted and gone out before I rose in the morning.”
Connections- I am very passionate about some things myself, like drawing and friends and so on.
Musical
Evidence- " Plays the violin well"
"He would close his eyes and scrape carelessly at the fiddle which was thrown across his knee"
Connections- I like to sing and I also play the trumpet so I think It is cool that we have musical interest in common.
Smart
Evidence- “The old Guiacum
test was very clumsy and uncertain. So is the Microscopic examination for blood corpuscles. The latter is valueless if the stains are a few
hours old.“
-
Observant
Evidence- “Nothing of the sort. I knew you came
from Afghanistan. From long habit the train
of thoughts ran so swiftly through my mind,
that I arrived at the conclusion without being
conscious of intermediate steps."
Connection- I am also very observant and I like to notice things the other people usually don't notice
Sherlock: bad qualities
-
Very emotional
Evidence- “But now and again a reaction would seize him and for days on end he would lie upon the sofa in the sitting-room hardly uttering a word or moving a muscle from morning to night.”
“But now and again a reaction would seize him and for days on end he would lie upon the sofa in the sitting-room hardly uttering a word or moving a muscle from morning to night.”
Connections- I'm not that emotional. One day he is very happy about science all, but the next day, he is a mess sitting on the sofa not peeping a word! It's really an inhuman trait to me because I don't know of anybody who did that or has done that
