Tools
Blur
Blur is a tool used for blurring things out, like for example, an edge that needs to blend in more. Blur is a good tool to blend in different objects together, like a colour and an edge of a shape.
Eraser
Eraser is the opposite of a pen or pencil, , this tool removes objects like shapes and lines wherever the user moves the eraser over, it can also be used creatively by rubbing out areas to create something.
Pencil
Pencil is a very similar tool to the brush except its more pixelated, more block like and the colour is flat compared. This tool is brilliant for pixel art as it can be drawn pixel for pixel.
Dodge
The Doge tool is used to highlight areas and make areas lighter, its a good tool to use when the user wants definition in whatever it it.
Brush
A brush is one of the main tools that could ever be used, especially for digital art, It's what lets the user create images by drawing, the size of this brush can be changed; the softness and hardness can be changed too. Once a line has been drawn, it can also be edited in many different ways.
Clone stamp
Clone stamp tool is useful for replacing what was originally there with the part right next to it, the user may pick a spot on the canvas and then use the same texture and colour and then fill in a space with that colour and texture.
Filter
The Filter option has many different tools with in it, such as Noise, Render, Distort; these are all editing tools. These tools are good for editing an already created image, for example, Distort allows the users to make the image look more distorted in a way they want it.
Layers
Layers are a core feature of design programs. Layers allow the user to Draw and create on the same canvas without destroying anything else on the canvas and allows for mistakes. You can delete, create, Duplicate and hide layers to help with whatever's being created, this way, separate parts of the project can be safely put into separate areas .

Multiply
This is a shading technique used on a a separate layer and a low opacity black coloured brush. It is a useful way to give an image or a specific space definition and is used according to where the light is coming from.

Free hand
Free hand can be used to create and draw without any guides or grids. It allows the user to draw however they want, this can be good in some situations but not all. Whether its to create an entire image free hand, or just to add some extras or structure to an image, free hand gives the user freedom to create how they will.
