Starts off with percussion then singing accompanied by light strings and flutes. The piece is quite hectic, not having much flow. With the melody being interrupted by percussion and changes of pitch in singing throughout the entire piece. Quiets down towards the end and only uses strings and flutes to accompany the singer.

Symphonic Revolution

Symphony 5 (LG 23)
-
-
Starts off chaotic with a rise in tension through out the first movements, has large shifts in the tone. Switching between minor and major quickly. Does have lots of repetition through out the piece. I particularly do not like it, being too jumpy and dissonant for my liking.

Wrote 9 symphonies, had 3 periods to his music
Middle symphony 3-8, personal narrative of individual heroism
Late, symphony 9, adds choir
Early, symphony 1-2, style of Mozart
