How much does the third murderer know about Banquo and his habits? Knows what Banquo looks like. Knows Banquo's horses habits. Knows Banquo is not riding alone
Who might the third murderer be? Another guy off the street like the first two assassins.
Could be Macbeth. He told everyone that night to have the night off, gives him time to sneak away and murder Banquo.
When Fleance flees at the end of this scene, he doesn't return to Inveress. Would he have any reason not to?
No. His dad just died, he would be the new king of Inveress

What does Hecate's speech reveal? Hecate is going to raise evil sprites from the ground creating Macbeth to hallucinate.
Why is Hecate mad at the Weird Sister? They told Macbeth about his future and Macbeth is using evil to gain something for himself. Not to just be evil.
Scene ii
What is Lady Macbeth's emotional state? Of the couple that appear stronger? Lady Macbeth is not happy and feels out of the loop
How has lady Macbeth's role changed?
She has to ask to talk to her husband and doesn't know any of Macbeth's plans. She is out of the loop.
This scene emphasizes that neither of the Macbeth's are happy after obtaining the crown. What reasons are suggested for their unhappiness?
Macbeth has nightmares every night.
Lady Macbeth is not being told anything and has to ask permission to talk to her husband.

How they Differ
Duncan's murder was a step by step plan inside, Macbeth had to get his hands dirty for his murder. After Duncan's murder he started to feel guilty. For Banquo's murder Macbeth did not feel guilty. Macbeth hired assassins for Banquo's murder.
