Dialogue driven by cards
- Communication style based on cards drawn into a hand
- Player uses a card in the hand to represent the approach
- If the approach matches the NPC preferred communication
Secrets and facts are cards
- cards represents a fact or secret in a tangible form
- Allows easier tracking of these things
- If using a hidden hand vs known on the table, allows the players to hide information or play it at their choosing
Levels of Certainty,
can be used for bluffing or rumor planting
Augment Based
Based on classic Logic, Ethics & Emotional model of arguments
An NPC has an Log/Eth/Emo score as it pertains to a subject
- Subject can be an ambition, person, faction
- The LEE can be weighted so that characters are convinced in different ways. ie Logic weight would success would mean more than the other parts
- Score based
