- Undifferentiated Haematopoietic stem cells→ B cells
- Recombining gene-segments of heavy & light chain so BCR is unique
- Mature B cells leave bone marrow and head to secondary lymphoid organs (lymph node, spleen tonsils) arrange in B cell areas
