No matter what happens in or out of Mrs. Horn's classroom she doesn't let it affect her attitude or teaching. She always has a smile, or a kind word to say to students. They could be throwing a major tantrum, but if they something that even remotely contributes to the discussion or lesson, she praises them. This usually results in the student rejoining the class. Also even when students write mean things on their refocusing paper, she reads them, thanks them, and if their is anything they may have written down that worries her, or that worries them, she works with them, school officials, or parents to ease these worries. She also doesn't allow them to just leave the room, nor does she send them away. She has learned that when they go to the office they never learn anything, instead the get a nice break before they get sent back to class having not learned any sort of lesson
