George is taking care of Lennie, he cares about him. Average size of a man. Always angry because of Lenny's actions
They arrive the new farm to work. They doesn't like it, they are there just for the financial earnings
They got tricked by the busman, and had to walk the last part of the journey. Why? More space in the bus or more earnings
There is a cold environment in the farm. Curley is a directly case to this. Curley is consistantly mad at Lennie because he is bigger than him. Curley hates bigger folks.
The film takes part in the 30s, when the global stock-market crasehd. They have to work to recieve useful financial holdings
Lenny and George dreaming about having an own place for themself. For that, they need money which they can earn in the farm
They got known with a pretty lady, who will be the cause to the tragedy at the end.
Candy is an old man with lots of life experiences. His dog got killed because of a bad illness, it was the closest "friend" he had until Georgie & Lennie came
Curley: son of the owner. Husband to the only lady in the farm. Quite agressive. He is mean to the farmers and thinks he can do what he want. Selfish. Curley and the dog has a common thing. They are both sick in their minds
I think the reason why the movie is called "of mice and men" is because big guys can have a small personality. You can see that with Lennie
Georgie lied to the boss. Why? To not lose the job, if he told the truth about Lennie's difficulties and the awful siutation, then the chance of getting the job would decrease.
The similarities between how the dog was treated and some human beings, was that they were not treated good. No one had respect for them, which is a shame. Both parts didn't have a nice life quality mainly because of the enviorment
Curley accepts the excuse that he got his hand caught in a machine. He doesn't want the title of being beaten up.
Curley's wife doesn't have any other women she could be with and share her personal issues with. That, I think, is a problem she is facing during the time in the farm. She could fweel a bit lonely.
When Candy says poor bastard, he mean that Lennie is in big trouble. Why? He is the most clumsy of all the guys in the farm. Lennie is also quite shy when he meets other woman, which can lead to unfortunate actions.
Lennie is compared like a dog. An example is when he slurps water. He drinks without hands. He is strong as a bull, they say. That's some transitions between nature and human beings on behalf of Lennie. He has a master which is Georgie
