Job Analysis:

Info can be collected by observation by a qualified job analyst. This method is especially suited to manual labour, where it is easy to see exactly what the employee is doing.

detail the knowledge, skills and abilities relevant to a job, including the education, experience, special training, personal traits and manual dexterity of the person doing the job
