UPPER HOUSE
This is also known as The Senate, the States' House and the Red Chamber.
This House is made up of elected men and women who represent the people of Australia's six states and territories.
They are known as senatore. Currently There are 76 senators- 12 from each state and 2 from each territory.

HOW THEY WORK TOGETHER
Both the Senate and he House of Representatives are pretty much equal partners, but usually the government does not have a majority of members in the Senate.
