        • Dentist may not recognise when they are brining their personal values into the consultation
        • Personal values expressed in clinical setting may compromise patient care
        • Patient could be misled, coerced, or disrespected by the dentist

    - - (i) You must treat patients fairly without discrimination, respecting cultural values, personal disabilities and individual differences
        (ii) You must not refuse or delay tx becuase you believe that a patients actions have contributed to their conditions
        (iii) Your personal beliefs, inluding political, religious and moral beliefs, should not affect your advice or treatment
        (iv) Do not express your personal beliefs to your patients in ways that exploit their vulnerability or are likely to cause them distress
        (v) You must protect and promote health of the patient and the public
